CAMPAIGNERS have vowed to fight on despite a ruling in favour of Bradford Council over a hugely controversial waste-to-energy incinerator scheme. Battlers against the project claimed the council's decision to approve the planning application had been flawed.And the issue went before a two-day judicial review in Leeds last month.But today, a Judge gave the verdict in favour of the council.

ENGINEERS carrying out a £1 million 'health check' on Keighley sewers were joined by the town's MP. John Grogan accompanied the Yorkshire Water (YW) team for an afternoon as it examined sections of the network. The company, together with contract partners Barhale and Indepth Civils, is inspecting sewers across the town as part of an initiative to reduce flooding risks.

HIGH-speed broadband is heading to Goose Eye. The village is benefitting from a deal struck between BT Openreach and West Yorkshire Combined Authority. Keighley MP John Grogan welcomes the move. "Residents of Goose Eye have contacted me on a number of occasions about the lack of reliable and fast broadband," he said.
