Proposals by Bradford Council to shut Keighley's Household Waste and Recycling Centre have been dropped ahead of a council meeting next week.
 

The plan was put forward late last year as a measure that would save the council around £1.6m over the next two financial years.

THE details of a shake-up to local bus services which takes place this month have been revealed - with good and bad news for passengers.

The operations of the 948, 962, 966 and Otley DASH services were all put up for tender by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority ahead of the current contract with Transdev coming to an end on February 19th.

Fresh calls have been made for the existing, crumbling building to be replaced.

ANGER and disappointment has greeted news of Keighley's failure to receive any 'levelling up' cash in the Government's latest round of funding.

Several ambitious town schemes, together worth around £20 million, were in the running for potential funds.

But none of the projects put forward for the Bradford district were successful.
